Ti.po.ta: ATHINA VRAZI A CAPELLA

Ti.Po.tA  's day in Athens, middle of the summer..

Athens is boiling
45 degrees ,
animals searching for shadow,
smells of garbage
and  greek coffee.
Angry drivers horns
mixed on bouzouki's strings
the lost tourists and passers -by
the obvious smell of crises
the obvious smell of raki
in a hurry
the coffees full of tavli beats
traffic jam every corner
drug addicts in the squares
the drug dealers in the government building
pigeons fighting for a crumb of bread
 fights in the streets ,
t kisses in the corners
the kids swetting and playing…
the molotov and the maalox
and that bloody cigarette burnin
always in the hands
Athens is boiling
and it looks just like you and us.
